Seed packing - most enjoyable weekend activity.
Harvesting, drying, collecting, saving, packing and posting!
Can you imagine how i feel when i think of my pen pal will/able to grow something very nice in their garden like i have?

Sometimes, the tiniest seeds produce the most amazing things.
SO TRUE!

outgoing mail june!

Hello,

We've had a very productive weekend, which is good.

Flowers make us happy, always wish we had a big tree in our front yard. I transplanted a pot of beautiful flower into the ground, hope it grows well! {not sure what is it called, its a type flowering vine plant with big bunch of bold orange flowers}. I got from a cutting my dad gave me few months ago from home (it has already waited too long to transplant).

This is the plant that dad have given me! In the front yard at my hometown, can't wait for mine one to bloom~

Then my partner finally have time to helped me out on some 'hardwork', hehe! drilling and put up a few of metal rail on kitchen wall, all my kitchen utensils were happily hung on the rods now!

And I managed to complete few more outgoing letters, happy that all the parcel are on its way to my sweet pen friends now!

outgoing mail may!

The most beautiful & romantic lines I have ever read, specially for snail-mailer!

“How wonderful it is to be able to write someone a letter! To feel like conveying your thoughts to a person, to sit at your desk and pick up a pen, to put your thoughts into words like this is truly marvelous.” ― Haruki Murakami, Norwegian Wood

Some of the love letters & parcels i wrote and posted last week / or i should say last month! >_< Its quite difficult-to-express how much i heart handwritten letter. Letter writing has become a very important part of my life, i have learned so much from all of you - my dear pen pals and also my English has improved greatly through writing.
I am truly blessed to have some very nice pen friends in my life, hopefully we could meet up in person one day.

Happy mail day!

outgoing mail april

Hey!

Some of my outgoing mail this month. Not very productive, but snail mail meant to be 'slow' right? >_<  I am a bit slow because i took quite some time on each letter. To collect & gather bits and pieces, little things they {my penpals} might like // then packing and decorating {the most fun parts} // re-read the letter again and slowly response {writing} the letter.

Like now, i am browsing & pinning some pretty snailmail ideas on pinterest, cool way to decorate an envelope, how others making mail art, collage, doodling...etc.

outgoing mail - march part 2

Last 2 outgoing mail in March! It has been raining almost everyday lately. Trying to do more mail/postal art, focusing on mail collage this time!
I have always loved letter writing in rainy days, sitting at my desk sipping a cup of hot herbal tea, turn on my favorite soft music! I'm in love with Studio Ghibli's OST lately, especially Princess Mononoke - Legend of Ashitaka Soundtrack by Joe Hisaishi! It's so so good!

In my book wish list - snail mail book by michelle mackintosh! I want this so badly, who can resist a snail mail bible >_< Have a look on the cute webpage!

I made my first successful pandan chiffon last night! I was so so happy, beyond excited that i had baked perfect chiffon cake with my mom's recipe! Hehe, will share more photos and recipe soon, stay tuned!

Happy midweek friends!

outgoing mail - march part 1

I really enjoy staying at home during weekends, cuts down on shopping lately, i hardly goes cafe hopping, feel like i need to save more money, pretty much because prices of many things has been rising in KL, feel insecure if i overspend. The only expenses are only for food and groceries! (okay, maybe some stationery stuff or a few little sauce dishes >_<)

So last weekend 'stay-at-home' project was to catching up with my letter writing, hobby that doesn't cost so much money, only with my heart! ^^ I always wanted to do more mail art, not like Japan post, the sad things is that Malaysian post has restrictions for letters and packages sent, only standard envelope sizes are accepted.  I am not too sure mail art with odd envelopes gets to reach to the destination or not?

Let's try it, nothing to lose right?
